What I’d Never Put on my Design Board....
Now, I may offend some readers here but....... Crocs are for gardening, not garment inspiration!
And 100% polyester? It’s the fast fashion equivalent of a soggy handshake- limp, lifeless, and weirdly shiny.
You won’t find figure-hugging silhouettes or cleavage-revealing cuts on my design board either. 🫢Not because there’s anything wrong with them- but because they don’t speak to the kind of comfort, ease, and quiet confidence I’m drawn to. Who else has a pair of jeans 👖 that fit perfectly when standing and then cut off your circulation at the knees when sitting? ✋
I gravitate toward natural fibres, pieces that breathe, and shapes that leave room- for movement, for layering, for life. There’s something grounding about garments that feel honest and natural. No synthetic shine. No stretch-for-the-sake-of-it.
Design boards are used to inspire and to get creative juices flowing. Mine just happens to leave out the plastic clogs and body clinging dresses. And I’m okay with that.😉
