A Solar‑Powered Studio for the Clothes You Love

Recently, we’ve been making some exciting upgrades behind the scenes at the Lahay studio - all centred around sustainability, resilience, and creating your garments with as light a footprint as possible.

Our studio has always run primarily on solar energy, but we’ve recently doubled our solar capacity and added a battery system with blackout backup. That means the space where your Lahay pieces are designed, cut, packed, and shipped is now almost entirely self‑sufficient ☀️⚡️

On bright days, the studio runs purely on solar power. When the weather is cloudy or demand is higher, the new battery steps in to keep everything running smoothly - from production to packing orders - without relying on the grid. And if there’s ever a blackout, the studio continues operating without interruption… damn, no more excuses not to work! 😉

It feels good knowing that the clothes we create for you are now made in a space powered by the same values we design with: simplicity, longevity, and care for the world we live in.
